Hero MotoCorp, India ka sabse bada two-wheeler maker, ab tak electric vehicle market ke fringe par tha. but ab automaker apne mainstream zero-emission market play ko accelerate karne ke liye ready hai. Company ke plans se familiar sources ke according, Hero MotoCorp ne next 2-3 years mein half a dozen new models line up ke liye ready hain or few models is in under development stage, jo entry-level scooters se leke dirt bikes and all the way high-performance electric motorcycles tak honge.

Yeh product hero technology centre, CIT, Jaipur mein lagbhag 2 years se develop ho raha hai aur 2027 mein launch hone ka plan hai. Jo log iss project ke baare mein jaante hain, unke according Splendor project ka name AEDA rakha gaya hai, aur company is model ke liye lagbhag 2 lakh units per annum ka volume target kar rahi hai.

Yeh EVs 2026-27 ke timeline mein launch ho sakti hain aur premium price points ko target karengi, jo 350cc aur usse upper and equivalent segments mein hain.
Last year, Hero MotoCorp ne yeh reveal kiya tha ki wo 12 se zyada electric two-wheeler models launch karne ka plan kar rahe hai, but exact segments, price points aur timeline ke baare mein kuch nahi bataya. Ather Energy apne new platform 'Zenith' develop kar rahi hai, to support new electric two-wheelers, aur yeh 125-300 cc motorcycle segments ko target karega. Big traditional OEMs mein se kisi ne bhi apni electric motorcycles ke liye exact timeline disclose nahi ki hai, except Royal Enfield RE ne apna plan bataya hai RE apni first electric motorcycles Flying Flea brand ke under next year ke first half mein launch expected hai. Chennai based company pehle international markets ko target karegi, uske baad India mein wide launch karegi.
