    Norton Manx & Atlas Revealed Ahead of India Launch | EICMA 2025 Highlights

    At EICMA 2025, Norton revealed its new “Manx” and “Atlas” motorcycle ranges ahead of the Indian launch. The Manx features a 1,200 cc V4 superbike platform, while the Atlas uses a 585 cc twin-cylinder engine for the mid-weight adventure segment. This marks Norton’s resurgence under TVS Motor Company and entry into India in mid-2026.

    Jab se TVS ne 2020 mein Norton ko acquire kiya hai, tab se Indian company pichle kuch saalon se British brand ko dobara zinda karne ke liye lagataar mehnat kar rahi hai. Ab us mehnat ka nateeja humein chaar naye bikes ke roop mein mila hai, jo agle saal tak India samet duniya ke bade markets mein launch kiye jayenge.

    British motorcycle manufacturer Norton ne apne do naye model families — Manx aur Atlas — EICMA 2025 mein showcase kiye hain, jo company ke global aur Indian markets mein dobara strong entry karne ke intension ko dikhata hai. TVS Motor Company ke ownership mein, brand ko new engineering aur global ambitions ke saath yeh brand dobara revive kiya ja raha hai.

    Brand Revival

    Norton ek “resurgence” strategy se guzar raha hai, jise strong investment (approx. £200 million+ batayi ja rahi hai) aur increase workforce ka support mila hai. Iska aim hai aisi premium motorcycles develop karna hai jo desirable ho aur jinhe British engineering ke base par global level par taiyaar kiya ja sake.

    Brand ka manufacturing base Solihull (UK) mein hai, aur naye models ka development bhi isi push ka ek hissa hai.


    Strategic Entry into the Indian Market

    Indian market ke liye, Norton mid-2026 launch ko target kar raha hai. India-UK Free Trade Agreement (FTA) ki wajah se, company UK mein bane engines aur Indian market operations ke liye export/import full benefits ki planning kar rahi hai.

    Manx Family

    Norton ke poore naye line-up ko lead kar raha hai unki yeh flagship superbike — Manx R. Jahan V4SV ka design zyada smooth aur curvy tha, rather Manx R ka look kaafi modern aur sharp hai. nowdays superbikes mein jahan bade aerodynamic parts ka trend hai, Manx R ka carbon-fibre bodywork un sab elements se bilkul free rakha gaya hai. Isi tarah, uska underbelly exhaust design bike ka overall look clean aur uncluttered banata hai.


    iss bike ko sleek aur naye bodywork ke neeche ek naya 72-degree, 1,200cc liquid-cooled V4 engine laga hai jo 206hp produce karta hai 11,500rpm par aur 130Nm ka torque deta hai 9,000rpm par. Is engine ke saath ek 6-speed gearbox diya gaya hai jisme slipper clutch aur bidirectional quickshifter bhi milta hai.


    Is bigger V4 motor ke around ek cast aluminium monocoque frame lagaya gaya hai, jiske saath ek bahut hi khoobsurat single-sided swingarm diya gaya hai.     But for now, Manx aur Manx R UK mein assemble ki ja rahi hain, but inke kuch engine components India mein manufacture honge. Yeh bhi kaafi possible hai ki few years later yeh dono 1,200cc V4 superbikes poori tarah se India mein hi manufacture ki jaayen.


    Atlas and Atlas GT

    Pair of adventure touring bikes in the midsize segment, crafted in India

    Atlas adventure bike nayi Norton line-up ka ek zyada accessible model hai, aur yeh compeletly India mein banayi jaayegi. Isko power deta hai ek 585cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, jo approx 70hp tak ki peak power produce karta hai. Norton ka kehna hai ki is engine ka torque spread apni class mein sabse broad hai, but yeh exactly kis position par fit hota hai, yeh abhi bhi ek question hai.

    Norton ka kehna hai ki Atlas ka performance Kawasaki Versys 650 ke level ka hai, lekin ye bike kaafi halke weight wali hai. Second model mein 17-inch alloy wheels offer kiye gaye hain, jinke saath Eurogrip Roadhound tyres lage hue hain. Dono bikes mein twin front brake discs diye gaye hain, jinko radially mounted front calipers hold karte hain — ye sab components Bybre ke through supply kiye gaye hain. Atlas ka seat height approx 840mm hai, whereas GT model ka seat height kaafi low hai — around 810mm.

    Is bike mein rider ke liye kaafi advanced features diye gaye hain, jaise ki 4 riding modes – Sport, Touring, Urban, aur Off-road. Isme lean-sensitive ABS aur traction control bhi milta hai, jo 6-axis IMU ke through kaam karta hai. Aapko remote preload adjuster, keyless ignition, aur bidirectional quickshifter bhi milta hai. Abhi tak company ne sirf do platforms par 4 bikes reveal ki hain, but 2026 ke spring tak ek teesra platform bhi showcase kiya jayega — jo abhi confirm nahi hai, but i assume ki yeh ek midsize neo-retro model hoga — aur iske base par do aur models banaye jayenge.

    Jab Atlas aur Manx models sale par aayenge, toh inhe ek dealer network ke through on sale kiya jayega jo Europe, US, UK aur India jaise established and mature global markets mein 200 se zyada touchpoints tak faila hoga. Aap expect kar sakte ho ki yeh new Norton models 2026 ke pehle half mein aapke aas-paas ke showroom mein milenge.
