    October 2025 mein India ka electric vehicle (EV) market ne zabardast growth dekhi gayi, jahan total 17,783 EVs sold hue. Ye year 2024 ke compare mein 56% zyada hai, aur September ke comparison mein 9% ki month-on-month increase bhi dekhi gayi.


    Tata Motors Dominates Electric Vehicle Market

    Tata Motors EV Dominance

    • Sales: 7,118 units
    • Growth: +8% YoY, +7% MoM
    • Market Share: ~40%

    Tata Motors abhi bhi India ke electric car market mein lead kar rahi hai, jiska reason hai Nexon EV, Punch EV, aur Tiago EV jaise models ki strong demand. Brand ka diverse lineup or early-mover advantage use apne competitors se aage rakhta hai.


    MG Motor and Mahindra Demonstrate Substantial Growth Trajectory

    MG Motor India (JSW MG)

    • Sales: 4,497 units
    • Growth: +61% YoY
    • Market Share: ~25%

    MG ne India ke EV sales ranking mein second place maintain kiya, apni ZS EV aur Comet EV models ke support se. Ye brand premium buyers aur urban city customers dono ko attract kar raha hai.


    Mahindra & Mahindra

    • Sales: 3,867 units
    • Growth: +303% YoY, +11% MoM
    • Market Share: 22%

    Mahindra ka tezi se badhta hua growth XUV400 ke strong performance aur naye EV models ki early deliveries se aa raha hai. Company ki EV strategy jaldi hi apna asar dikh rahi hai, jisse Mahindra top contenders mein apni jagah mazboot kar raha hai.

    • Sales: 655 units
    • Growth: +1,293% YoY, +24% MoM
    • Market Share: 4%

    Kia ka impressive growth yeh dikhata hai ki logon ka interest EV6 aur company ke naye electric models mein badh raha hai, jo uski India strategy ka hissa hain.


    BYD India

    • Sales: 560 units
    • Change: -6% MoM
    • BYD 5th position par aa gaya hai, but premium EV segment mein abhi bhi ek strong player bana hua hai.

    High-End Brands & Emerging Players

    • BMW India: 303 units (high end brands ki baat karein toh BMW leading luxury EV brand) bana hai or iss ne first position achieve kiya hai
    • Mercedes-Benz India: 90 units bechi gayi (-17% month-on-month yaani Sep month se 17% kam).
    • Tesla India: October 2025 mein Model Y ke 40 units deliver kiye gaye — jo company ke Indian market mein early entry ko mark karta hai.

    Sales Trends & Market Analysis

    January se October 2025 tak, India ne 1,44,352 EVs sale hain — jo 2024 ke total 99,688 units se already zyada hai. According to Experts poore saal ke liye EV sales 1,70,000 se 1,80,000 tak pahunch sakti hain, jo India ke electric car market ke liye ek record-breaking momentum dikhata hai.
