    Skoda Kylaq drives over 40% of Skoda-VW Group's 2025 sales

    Compact sub-4m SUV as the biggest contributor to record India volumes, selling 45,000+ units in 2025.

    Skoda Kylaq drives over 40% of Skoda-VW Group's 2025 sales

    Skoda Auto Volkswagen India (SAVWIPL) ne CY2025 mein apni ab tak ki most selling domestic sales report ki hai. Year-on-year sales approx. 36% increase ho kar 1.17 lakh units tak rise kar gayi.


    Export ko bhi include karein so total sales 1.59 lakh units rahi. Saath hi, company ne ek big manufacturing milestone bhi achieve kiya, apne Made-in-India programme ke under 20 lakh cars ka production complete kar liya.

    Kylaq takes the led in numbers


    Company ne Kylaq ko 2025 ka apna main game changer bola hai. India ke liye Skoda ka ye first sub 4 meter SUV hai, or iski wajah se Skoda ab country ke sabse high volume segment mein zyada competitive price ke saath compete kar pa rahi hai.


    2025 mein 45,000 se zyada units sell karne ke saath, ye model group ke domestic sales ka most biggest contributor ban gaya. Isi wajah se Skoda ne all over the year mein 70,000 units ka mark cross kiya Isse ye bhi clear hota hai ki sub 4-meter SUV segment India mein group ke liye kitna important hai.

    Company ne bola ki MQB-A0-IN platform pe bane models ne manufacturing or sales dono mein growth ko kaafi support kiya hai. 2025 mein domestic market recovery sabse zyada strong rahi, but SAVWIPL ne exports pe bhi highlight diya total exports 7.15 lakh units cross kar chuke hai, or ab shipments new markets tak expand ho rahe hai.


    Piyush Arora, MD & CEO, Skoda Auto Volkswagen India ne kaha, "Hamari performance ka base consistent execution or India ke liye long term planning hai, Make-in-India strategy ki strength manufacturing, sales or exports sab jagah clearly show ho rahi hai. 2026 mein enter karte hue, hamara focus bilkul clear hai, customer needs ke according apna product portfolio expand karna or network ko or large karna."


    Virtus dominates the midsize sedan market; Golf GTI and Octavia RS are completely sold out


    Apart from Kylaq volumes, group ne ye bhi highlight kiya ki Volkswagen or Skoda dono brands ke key models, jaise Virtus, Slavia, Kushaq or Taigun, ko kaafi strong response mil raha hai. Volkswagen midsize sedan segment mein abhi bhi lead kar raha hai, jahan Virtus ka market share 38% hai.


    Company ne Skoda Octavia RS or Volkswagen Glof GTI ke launch ke kuch hi days mein completely sold out ho gayi. Saath hi, group ne ye bhi bataya ki unhone apna retail or service network all over India mein increase kar ab 700 customer touchpoints tak achieve kar liya hai.


    Luxury brands: Audi, Porsche or Bentley

    Premium segment mein Audi ne apni SUV range ke new variants launch kiye, Q3, Q5, Q7 or RS Q8. Porsche ne apna network expand karke 13 points of  sale tak reach kar liya, or Bentley ne Mumbai, Bengaluru or Delhi mein apne dealerships open kiye. Lamborghini ne bhi 2025 mein Temerario launch ki.
