And ek interesting baat bhi saamne aayi hai jo kaafi fans ke liye surprising ho sakti hai, last couple of years se M3 performance division ki best selling car nahi rahi hai.
BMW i4 kaafi logon ke liye ek benchmark ban gaya tha, or competitors ke liye ek tough rival bhi. Atleast single charge pe range ke aspect mein toh ise already beat kar diya gaya hai second generation BMW iX3 ne, jo 805 km tak chal jaati hai.
But iX3 ki yeh success zyada time intact nahi reh paayi, because new i3 ne toh level hi or upper kar diya, direct 900 km ki range ke saath.

Ek aisa figure jo new electric BMW X5 ke kisi bhi version tak nahi pahunch paayega. Size bada hone ke despite, or wheelbase itna hai ki 110 kWh se bhi zyada capacity wali bigger battery fit ho sakti hai, phir bhi physics or weight ki limits ko cross nahi kiya ja sakta, or iska direct impact performance par padta hai.

Haan, new BMW iX5 sirf ek powerful lithium-ion battery se hi nahi chalegi, rather isme hydrogen fuel cell system bhi hoga. Isme 7 tanks installed hai, jo complete 3,035 mm wheelbase ke under fit kiye gaye hai. Simple words mein bolein so jo normal EV battery hoti hai, uski jagah in tanks ne le li hai. Yeh actually highlight karta hai ki new "Neue Klasse" platform kaafi flexible hai or different types ke powertrains ko easily support kar sakta hai.
BMW ne bola hai ki yeh 7 hydrogen tanks 700 times pressure pe hydrogen store kar sakte hai, jisse car ko max 750 km tak ka range milta hai. Kaafi logon ke liye maybe ye number itna impressive na lage, but koi tension wali baat nahi hai, because company kaafi time se work kar rahi hai so that iX5 ka range 1000 km se bhi upar le jaa sake. And ye, obviously yeh sab hydrogen pe hi hoga.
Customers ke liye biggest advantage yeh hai ki hydrogen tanks ko refill karne mein 5 mins se zyada time nahi lagta.
Agar isko iX3 se compare karein, so difference kaafi bada hai, because iX3 ko 10% se 80% tak charge hone mein around 20 mins lagte hai, or woh jo 805 km range claim karta hai, actually mein sirf around 640 km hi deliver karta hai.
But yeh new hydrogen powered BMW iX5 abhi ready nahi hai, launch se before isko kaafi testing se go through hona padega, or iska debut 2028 mein expected hai.

Tab tak hum is more efficient version ke baare mein or details samajhte rahenge. Starting mein yeh 2 electric motors ke saath aayegi or xDrive all-wheel drive offer karegi, jiska max power output around 560 se 600 hp hoga. Humein yeh bhi pata hai ki yeh sirf five seater configuration mein available hogi, or rear motor ko priority di jayegi so that car ki range maximum ho sake.
Iske alawa yeh bhi important hoga ki price kya hogi, iska comparison ek similar electric option se kaise hai, or kya yeh spain mein available hogi ya nahi. Europe mein is chemical se refueling ka infrastructure itna developed nahi hai, isliye roads par ise dekhne thoda mushkil hoga.
